Our commitment
Accessibility is an ongoing practice, not a one-time claim. Quiet Path aims to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at the AA level where reasonably possible, while continuing to learn from the people who use the site.
If something creates a barrier, we want to know. You do not need to explain or prove a disability to ask for help, report a problem, or request information in another format.
What the site currently supports
The current website is designed with:
- Semantic headings, landmarks, lists, buttons, and links
- Keyboard-accessible navigation and visible focus styles
- A skip link that moves directly to the main content
- Responsive layouts that adapt to smaller screens and text sizes
- Alternative text for meaningful images and empty text for decorative marks
- Readable type, spacing, and color contrast within the current brand system
- Plain-language labels and content that does not depend on color alone
Known limitations
Some parts of the site depend on third-party services. The EmailOctopus newsletter form is loaded from an external provider and may not always offer the same level of control as the rest of the Quiet Path website.
If the form is difficult to use, email contact@quietpathcommunity.com and ask for help joining the newsletter. We will only add you after receiving your explicit request and consent.
Audio, video, live sessions, and downloadable materials may introduce additional needs as they are added. Quiet Path will aim to provide captions, transcripts, readable documents, and practical alternatives when those formats are published.
Request help or report a barrier
Email contact@quietpathcommunity.com if you encounter an accessibility barrier or need information in another format.
If useful, include:
- The page or content you were trying to use
- What happened and what you expected to happen
- Your browser, device, or assistive technology, if you are comfortable sharing it
- The format or accommodation that would be most useful
We will acknowledge the request, look for a practical alternative, and use the report to guide future improvements. Response time may vary because Quiet Path is a small, off-hours community project, but accessibility requests will be treated with care.
Assessment and updates
Quiet Path uses a combination of automated browser checks and manual review during site updates. These checks reduce common barriers but do not establish complete conformance or replace feedback from people using assistive technology.
